ASP is our preferred technology, combined with the considerable advantages of SQL server. Xproton also has many web sites done in ASP.net - our second best choice. ASP combined with the robust database system of MS SQL Server is preferred for big corporate systems. Quite often, as a simple yet neat header banner or as an entire dynamic web site connected to a XML database, our designers use Flash - a powerful technology by Macromedia for bulding attractive aperance.

Microsoft Technology (IIS, ASP,ASP.net and MS SQL Server)

The software giant Microsoft is a runner-up in the web technologies competition with its ASP (Active Server Pages) environment based on Internet Information Server (IIS), used in combination with one of the most sophisticated database systems - MS SQL Server.

We use Microsoft technology in about 20% of the websites we do. Although side costs are higher with a Microsoft system, it provides flexibility for complex tasks solutions, which makes it the best choice for big corporate systems.

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) and JavaScript form the groundwork of any serious webdevelopment project. HTML is the structure coding of a web page, CSS manages the visual presentation and JavaScript gives additional interactivity.

Xproton uses these technologies in all projects, thus creating a dynamic and contemporary look and contents of all web pages.

Flash

Macromedia Flash is a web technology created by Macromedia, which enables websites to show attractive animations, visual effects and interactivity. The specialists say this is the most progressive and perspective web technology. Currently Flash is supported by approx. 98% of the computers worldwide.

Xproton implements Flash graphics and animations in the websites to create attractive and dynamic visual appearance. We also have designed several websites entirely in Flash, as well as some interactive Flash applications - Dow Jones Graphical Analysis Charts, Music Player, Promotional Game, Site Tour and others.

XML

XML (Extensible Markup Language) is based on the original markup languages (such as HTML) and a very convenient solution for data integration in web pages. It's widely used to display hierachic structures.

Xproton uses the XML technology (often in combination with Flash) to represent various graphic elements such as charts, trees, menus, dynamic lists and other data.

SSI (Server Side Includes) is a popular technology supported by most server environments, which enables you to include common modules in unlimited number of pages.
